Larry T. Brakefield has spent over two decades at the forefront of the restaurant industry, bringing seasoned leadership to various prestigious dining chains. His hospitality and service management expertise has consistently propelled the companies he has worked with to new heights of financial and operational success.

Brakefield's journey in the restaurant business began after he graduated with a BS in Economics from Buffalo State University in 1994. He quickly entered the field, starting at Pizzeria Uno Chicago Bar and Grill. He rapidly ascended to Regional Director of Operations, managing a $40 million region there. Alongside his work, he pursued an MBA at Niagara University, which he completed while still in his role at Pizzeria Uno. This significantly enhanced his leadership and strategic decision-making skills.

In 2005, Brakefield took on a new role at Hard Rock International as the director of operations, overseeing the Northeastern United States and Canada. He was responsible for a $50 million market that included food and beverage, merchandise, and live entertainment venues, showcasing his ability to handle diverse and complex operations.

Brakefield's professional growth continued as he joined Carlson Restaurants as the Senior Director of Operations at TGI Fridays. In this capacity, he managed operations across several Northeast markets, handling a portfolio that generated $130 million in annual revenue. His effective management and strategic initiatives were recognized when he was awarded Senior Director of the Year.

Before his current role, Brakefield was the Brand President at Apple Investor Group, managing Applebee's franchises. Under his leadership, these franchises flourished, achieving $150 million in revenue and their peers' highest EBITDA profit margins. His role involved overseeing all aspects of operations, from marketing to strategic growth through new store openings and acquisitions.

Currently, Larry serves as the Regional Director of Operations at Sunshine Restaurants Partners, where he manages IHOP franchises in Florida. He oversees $80 million in annual sales, applying his deep industry knowledge and strategic insight to drive continuous growth and operational excellence.

Brakefield is also deeply committed to philanthropy, mainly through his involvement with the Children's Miracle Networks. His dedication has helped raise substantial funds for children's hospitals, aiding in the provision of critical healthcare services.

Residing in St. Pete Beach, Florida, with his wife, Amanda Hyde, Brakefield enjoys a rich personal life, highlighted by his love for golf. This hobby provides him with relaxation and precious bonding time with his son, as they often play together.
